Everyone who reads my posts knows how much I love Randall Pond with it beautiful water reflections, the great assortment of animals and insects, the beautiful folliage and the peace and serentity that I find there.
My walk through Randall Pond in October was even more breathtaking than usual. I went on a day that followed several days of rain. It was windy, cold and overcast. Truthfully, I set out only because I knew I needed pictures for the month of October – not from any real desire to be out on the nasty day.
It was amazing how quickly I forgot the cold and wind as I wandered through the trail that leads around this pond and through the forest surrounding it. The reflections were still there, but muted and softened by the wind that blew across the ponds surface.
I know in November the appearance will be totally different – but I cannot wait to see what it has to offer.
