The Long Island Museum and King Kullen teamed up for a Family Fun Day to celebrate the fall and Halloween on October 26th, 2008. The Long Island Museum staff worked hard to setup a safe fun place for families to gather and enjoy the day. And the weather could not have been better! Sunny - warm. A beautiful fall afternoon.
Children of all ages came to the festival in full costume costume for trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, hay wagon rides and the petting zoo. As an added treat Leonora Knight dramatized songs that celebrated books using the children as the main performers in her Halloween show.
