Typically, when a person thinks on death they think of - darkness, dust and worms. The thoughts provoke fear and discomfort. While in Middle Island, New York I saw this tombstone and just knew I had to take the shot.
This invokes thoughts of romance, never ending love. I mean, nature gave a red carpet on this grave site. Like “Rose-petals of a never-ending love”. It is absolutely breathtaking.
This 10×13 piece recently hung at the Mill Pond Gallery in Jamestown, New York and was featured in an article in the Long Island Newsday (see this article). Matted and framed to 16 x 20 and printed on high quality metallic paper, this image would make a lovely present or grace any room in your home.
It can be yours now from my etsy shop.
