My biggest Christmas present this year was the arrival of my son to New York. My son, Jonathan, is a search and rescue medic in the United States Navy and for the past 8 months he has been stationed in Kuwait.
To simply say that I am proud of him would be a major understatement — but I also have been very worried.
I picked him up from the airport right before Christmas and enjoyed a quick two week vacation with him.
We took a few trips around long island as Jonathan loves photography jsut like I do. So, we wandered around Stony Brook, NY , Bayard State Park and Randall Pond with our cameras clicking. Of course, I caught as many shots of my son as was possible. Below are a few of those shots:
