Write Along the Write Path – April 23rd

Well, you guessed it!  There was no class on 16th.  Dan and I were the only ones who were not involved with vacation, hiking, long car trips, etc …

So, I held on to the activities and we did them this week.  The first activity this week provoked much laughter and group interaction while the second activity was a little more introspective.

Write Along the Write Path – April 9th

Pagosa Springs was beautiful this Monday, April 9th, 2012.  It was a warm, sunny beautiful day with soft white clouds scattered throughout the deep blue sky.  Everyone I met the entire day seemed to be cheerful and in great spirits and the number of participants in the Write Along the Write path workshop doubled!  It was simply a wonderful day!

Free Flow Writing Guidelines

Here are the basic guidelines that we follow in Write Along the Write Path:

April 2, 2012

Considering that the weather turned from beautiful spring days to a spring snow storm, I thought no one would show up for the Write Along the Write Path Workshop.  I was surprised.  Two residents from Pagosa Springs, Colorado attended the first workshop and participated in two writing activities and a very short grammar lesson.

Free Flow Writing

Write Along the Write path focuses on free flow writing.  So, during our writing activities we write for a solid 15 minutes.  No correcting grammar or re-reading – just writing what comes to our minds.  This practice removes blocks from our minds, quiets the internal censure and increases our creativity.
